Dance Instructor

Grace is a Western Mass native who began dancing at Dance Works at age two under the direction of Pam Herrlein and Bridgette Bell, and started competing at six. She trained across multiple dance genres, specializing in jazz, tap, ballet, musical theater, and contemporary. She received numerous individual titles, special adjudications, and scholarships from competitions including American Dance Awards and Dance Masters of America.

She received her BS in Finance and a minor in Dance from Drexel University. As a member of the Drexel Dance Ensemble, she performed in pieces choreographed by SCRAP, Clyde Evans Jr., Dr. Miriam Giguere, Olive Prince, and Bronwen MacArthur. She was selected to choreograph multiple pieces for the company, earning university awards and scholarships in the process. She also set work on the senior team at the Philadelphia Dance Academy, showcased at Rutgers University and other NYC venues.

After graduating, she choreographed and performed throughout Philadelphia — including the Philadelphia Fringe Festival — and trained regularly at Koresh Dance Company. She also competed in the 2014 Miss Philadelphia Pageant, where she won the talent scholarship for her jazz performance to "Don Quixote."

Alongside her full-time role as a Director of FP&A, Grace is passionate about health and fitness — she's a NASM CPT, certified Pilates instructor, Precision Nutrition coach, and indoor cycling instructor with 16 years of coaching experience and 7 marathons under her belt.

Over the past few years, she has watched her daughter fall in love with dance on the other side of the studio window and knew Arena's was the place to call home. She is looking forward to sharing her love of art and movement with the talented dancers at ADC!
