Lisa Chandler
Dance Instructor
Lisa started dancing at Arena’s Dance Centre at the age of 6. She trained in tap, ballet, jazz, pointe, and lyrical and was a member of Arena’s Dance Company. Lisa went on to study at Slippery Rock where she majored in Special Education and Adapted Physical Activity, and minored in dance. After graduating, Lisa returned back to her home studio, Arena’s Dance Company, where she continued classes as an adult and later joined as a faculty member.
Full time, Lisa is an educator in a neighboring district. She teaches in an Autistic Support/Life Skills classroom where she cultivates an environment of inclusion and acceptance for any and all students she teaches.
At Arena’s, Lisa creates a supportive and engaging studio environment where every child can shine. Her teaching emphasizes foundational technique, creativity, and confidence, helping students develop coordination, musicality, and self-expression from an early age. Lisa is committed to nurturing each dancer’s growth while making their first experiences in the studio both educational and inspiring.
